I have a 1st gen iPod touch running 2.2 and everytime i put it to sleep it disconnects from Wifi and when I wake it back up it connects again. but sometimes it takes a minute to connect again. It's annoying. does this happen to anyone else?

same happens here. don't think its a glitch or anything, more of a battery saver. if it stayed connected to wifi while it standby, the battery would drain faster. you'll also notice that if you have music playing and then hit the sleep button, the ipod will stay connected b/c just the display is put to sleep.
