pdanet and email

i have been having email problems with my gmail account on my laptop, the email on my computer(the dock icon) for some reason the server keeps rejecting my password, i tried creating a new gmail account with a different password with no luck. one thing i thought about was that i use pdanet to tether my laptop to my iphone, it is an older version of pdanet. I just wondered if it has something to do with pdanet? any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same problem myself...but mine is happening with my mac email on my desktop...I have to manually go to mac.com to check mine...not sure if this will help u in your case
