iPod Help--How Do you convert a mp3 file to play from one speaker?

I want my ipod touch to play from only one speaker/earphone instead of both. Does anybody know any program that converts the mp3 file to play from one side?
 
GarageBand will also do this.

Create a new music project. Delete the piano track.

Drag the mp3 track into GarageBand. Pan the track to one side. Export to iTunes.
