sound problem macbook

I've got a fairly new macbook and sometimes when I boot into windows I have sound issues (no sound) I have to reboot for problem to go away. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Can you help us out and tell us how to reproduce your problem or tell us what you are doing to cause it?

I know whenever I go to Pandora in FireFox 3.1 beta 3 in Vista, I will lose my alt-Function key functionality. I don't know why, but it happens.
