I love that little guy! Mine is 32gb/2gb and runs like a champ, bit of a pain to type on, but it doesn't beat the fact that it's a 100% working mac at the price point its at. It also last longer on a charge than my mbp, and the wifi signal is a helluva lot better. Only issue i've ran into is it likes to hold the control key when it wakes from sleep, just touch it and it stops complaining.
Awesome! I can't wait, it should be here today! :D
And I'm obviously a fan of Apple products, but this puppy is a 100% supported by OS X, if dell can make one so can Apple, this fills the void in my lineup to be honest, if Apple isn't going to fill it, I'll find a place that will!

Hey mzd, what kind of "phones" are those? Just curious since I'm itching for a pair of over the ear style.
Thanks.
they are Audio Technica ATH-M50. pretty decent closed headphones in ~$100 category. there are a number of others to choose from, but these fit the bill in that the signature is relatively flat (good for mixing) and, at 35 ohms, they don't need a dedicated HP amp.
check http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/ for all your headphones needs. tons of experience and great reviews over there....

That's neat! How are those to sleep on btw?
I just got my lip pierced. I can't post a picture but I got a little spike tip on the lower left side. It didn't hurt at all which was cool, mostly due to the fact that during a wisdom tooth removal the nerve for that side of my chin was damaged. I have dual gauges in both ears but I think the lip is my favorite.

Limited edition leather holdall - perfect bag for slinging into the boot of my car for naughty weekends away ;) Will happily accommodate my clothes and small camera bag. At under GBP100 it is very cheap for an all leather bag too.
Remembering Elio by Lorie Coffey - I have been trying to track down a sensibly priced copy of this book for a while. Probably one of the best works about the (short) life and times of Elio de Angelis, one of the classiest drivers to have competed in Formula One.

Nice. I'm thinking about trading in my late '07 MBP for a new MB.
My MBP has the shelf specs of the $1999 version for that time: 2.2 GHz C2D, 2 GB (soon to be 4) RAM, 120 GB HDD, GeForce 8600M GT 128 MB. Still under AppleCare. CS3, Office '08, iWork '08, iLife '09, Aperture.
I'd go for the current $1299 MB shelf model.
I'd miss my 15" screen, but what other cons can you guys come up with for switching to the MB?

I bought 2 tickets to see Metric (http://www.myspace.com/metric) in concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Monday, June 7th- tomorrow!
I got some great seats: 2nd row center in the Loge section, which is apparently the best place for sound and to see the show. My friend bought tickets the day before and ended up with 2nd last row Mezzanine, which is the 2nd last row in the entire place! She's gonna be pissed when she finds out where I'm sitting!:cool:

Malm Bed!
<snip>
Mikeal Desk! (with glass top)
<snip>
Super excited to put them together... but that won't be until another 2 months. As of now, I'm home for the summer, then its back to University.
I have those as well. Well, the malm bed in white, and the Mikeal corner desk.
My brother and I both got malm beds about 2 years ago, and all I have to say is be careful with the roll out supports. The rubber parts rip very easily.
We sold my brothers on ebay (buyer didnt want the supports and just bought the wooden frame and metal beams) for 40 euro, because my brother has recently moved out of the country.
My malm bed needed a custom modification. it started to expand in the middle. The metal supports in the middle don't really do the trick in keeping them together, so we added a beam of wood down the middle to pull them back together.
Apart from that :rolleyes:, it's a very nice bed. :)

LG 24" with VGA, DVI and HDMI.
http://www.displayblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/lg_w53_smart_monitor_series.jpg
I originally wanted the 23" because it was significantly cheaper. My dad, being from a small town in Portugal where you literally bargain for everything, got the sales clerk to sell us the 24" for only 10 dollars more than the 23" (which originally was 100 dollars more).

Oh good. Not perfect, but could be worse.
I'm going to pick one up later this year, right before I finish school, so that I can take advantage of the education discount as well. The UCLA Store has even better pricing than the online Apple Education Store, so I'd be a fool not to buy something. Hopefully they'll be an update to the MacBook Pros before it's time to buy.

Finally got a new alarm clock. Emerson SmartSet CKS 9031.
A great little clock. My first atomic clock - it just set itself, cool show.

Technically what you have is not an 'atomic clock' per se it is one that sets itself by picking up a radio signal from an actual atomic clock from a world time server.

Some Alta Superflex knee pads. Excited to try these out over here. People seem to like them. I am sooo sick of my issued knee pads. They are the most uncomfortable, ill-fitting kneepads I have ever worn.

I bought a Macbook Pro. It's the 2.8GHz version with a 500GB hard disk. It's a beast!

The contents anyway. Spoon pipes are great, but I prefer bongs, myself.

Yeah me too.. but they can't fit in your pocket, which makes it tough to have in the dorms. :(
