Zero Out?

Hi,

How does one Zero out when doing a fresh reinstall of an operating system? I need to try this before reinstalling panther, as I am having some trouble with some programs crashing. Can anyone explain to me how to do this? Thank you!

I believe you boot from the install cd. Cancellation the installation. And you find find the option in the menu bar-disc utility.
