Please Help! Strange iPhone 2g to 2.2 upgrade problem.

Ok so i have the pwangetool.
and i use and everything goes quite well until i have to quit the pwangetool and boot itunes up. and have it show me my iphone. But problem is...my iphone does not pop up.
Not to mention, itunes keeps popping during the process of unlocking.
Idk what to from here...the process is almost done. I just need help cracking this part.

If you are using a mac and are running 10.5.6 then you need to go here (blog.iphone-dev.org) and follow the instructions to do the DFU fix. Then everything should work fine. :D

ok so i downloaded it....is there anything else i need to do? with it. once i restart my computer and comeback. do i need to open or do anything to it?

just a restart should do it. and when you are done jailbreaking reinstall the files from the 10.5.6 version.
