i noticed that there were a lot of if your 18 & under post your setup, but there weren't any for those of us who are in college. So I am curious what all of the other college students desk setups look like.
So if your in college post a pic of your desk and computer(s). It can be as is or you can tidy it up for the picture. Maybe we can get something big started here. Anyways have fun with it.
Here's a pic of my current setup in my apartment that I moved into a week ago. I am getting the 24" LED Cinema Display this afternoon so I will post another pic after I get it and set it up.
Cheers!

Yeah it is the McMurry book, the one with the white and green cover. LOL Yeah the subject is fun and I love learning about it, but my professor really sucks. I pretty much have to teach myself. LOL

Hoe do you like the book -- I find its pretty easy to read, well the last chapters (25, 26 etc).

What's the keyboard you're using there, and how do you like it?
It's a Logitech MediaBoard for PS3/PC.
It's garbage. I'm using it because I'm getting frustrated with the connection dropping issues I have with my Apple Bluetooth keyboard on my PC. :P If you still want a similar style keyboard as the MediaBoard, get the Pro version. It's decently made, doesn't have clickity-clack keys, etc. Honestly, the non-Pro MediaBoard bends when you type on it. The keys are wafer thin and are extremely loud. But it has zero lag and a built-in touchpad so it's not a bad idea for a HTPC solution. Plus it's only about $20! Note that the non-Pro version is non-Bluetooth and comes with its own dongle. The Pro version IS Bluetooth but doesn't come with its own dongle (since PS3s already have BT) so you'll have to have BT on whatever computer you want to use it with. I'm not sure if it works with Macs, unfortunately.

Oh my God, its funny yo mention that - I recently completed a very similar sequence in biophsyical chemistry and modern physics (with emphasis in DDDD). Are you interested in going into medicine or just wanting to get a PhD in this field?
BTW, for organic - my advice is to NOT memorize all of the mechanisms. If you haven't already, you will soon discover that organic chemistry is very patterend and so long as you can predict the behavior of nucleophiles and electrophiles, the subsequent reaction mechanism should be readily apparent. Spend more time understanding the theory behind the mechanisms and also try and understand the thermodynamic and kinetic controls of the reactions. This will help you in the long run!

Jlpoore89,
I just looked at your LED ACD again and that background looks awfully familiar. Were you on top of the Juliana bridge when you took that? It looks like you are looking at Punda from Otrabanda on the island of Curacao. Are you from there/did you visit there?

I hate to revive an old thread, but since college started a few months ago for everyone I was wondering if anyone has any new setups this year.
Post pics of your setup old or new at your college dorm/apartment/house.
I will post pics of my set up tomorrow because to quote my current facebook status
"is extremely tired after only getting 2 hours of sleep, going to classes from 930 to 5, finishing his WebWork(online calculus), and working on his technical report which is now 12 pages long!!! Today was a VERY productive day, but it is time for bed."
I am very tired at the moment and am going to bed.

This is Peter Hajas' college setup from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. You guys may know him now ever since Apple hired him as a developer. He had a pretty nice setup going.
http://desktopped.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/dorm-1.jpg
The two outside monitors are Planar and rotated to portrait. The inside screens are both 24″ Samsung monitors. The computer is a 2.8GHz Quad Core Mac Pro with 10GB RAM, 2.3TB internal storage and 500GB of external storage.
Sitting on the desk is a 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo 13″ MacBook Pro with 4GB RAM and 250GB HDD. Also seen on the desk is an Aluminum Apple Keyboard,d a Logitech MX Revolution mouse, an iPod shuffle and an iPhone 3GS.
