To which I can only reply:

Pricing for the NVIDIA Tesla option isn’t offered, but expect Tesla equipped systems to cost much more. NVIDIA said at the time it launched the Tesla line that systems using the GPU started at about $10,000.

So what is the significance of the water bottles in their advertising photo

Are they supposed to be so hot that they need liquid cooling :p

Or maybe the computers are so EXTREME that any person using the computer needs at least that much water to keep hydrated.

To which I can only reply:

they still should have offered it as an option, Mac Pro being (suppose to be) a workstation

The are built using 50% recycled parts making them Energy Star 5.0 compliant.

I doubt it would have done any good in Mac OS X, as the lack of drivers are sure to hold it back.

Not to mention with new technology as OpenCL and Grand Central it would probably only have been relevant in a very short timescale.

Thanks for the answer. Sometime I'm clueless. For some reason, it was really bothering me that I wasn't getting it. Sometimes I'm the last guy in the room to get the punchline to a joke. :o
