Network Update 1.0

The Networking Update improves network and Internet access after restarting your computer or when waking from sleep.

I hope this fix's my problem with AIM when I come back from sleep.

Bubba, that was out last night... You might want to consider checking the other threads BEFORE you post about an update. Many of us are here late into the evening and put up the news if it isn't already posted.

Why did you cancel it?? At what point did you cancel it?? If you did it after the download and during the install you are probably screwed. Then again, look on Apple's support site, in the downloads section to see if you can locate it there.

BTW, if you cancelled it during optimization, the thing is already installed no no problem....

Some things can never be fixed, I think AIM is one of them.

why does it have to optimize every time?

can't there be a box like 'optimize while i sleep' or something? :D

I hope this fix's my problem with AIM when I come back from sleep.

aim requires that you have a constant connection with them -- and when on sleep mode no programs are running... therefore aim doesnt have a constant connectoion with the aol servers (like actually sending data back and forth...)...

there wont be an update from apple that will fix this problem, if anything.
