The Unity game engine includes the PhysX engine, and has an iPhone version available. (I'm planning to port a never-published Mac PhysX game to iPhone shortly, in fact.)

I know from Unity how much fun PhysX is to play with!

I suspect some Unity PhysX games are in the store now, but I don't know which ones. I'd be curious to see. Maybe the same ones mentioned in the article.

The article is messed up and wrong, and should be withdrawn. The games they mention (Big Fun Racing, SpaceRace, Debris) are in fact Unity games. Of course they have a PhysX license.
