I have an elderly (about 4 years old) Emac. I also have a slightly outdated iPod. They both still work fairly well, but I suspect the iPod is not long for this world. The new model iPods are not compatible with my current Emac.

Rather than but a new mac (yet- financially not an ideal time) I was wondering- can I transfer all my info from the iTunes application (photos, play lists and all) to my office PC? (the mac and the PC are not in the same building). What kind of thumb drive can I use- if that).

The PC at my office does have the iTunes application and I was hoping to be able to upload all current iTunes info from the Emac to the PC, then upload from the PC to the newer iPod.

Hope this makes sense

thanks and regards,
Claudia

Here's one guide you can use as a reference.

How big is your library on the eMac?

Wow, that was fast! Thanks for the reply. Currently I have about 250 songs on iTunes and a bazillion photos (also my own artwork) all uploaded to the iPod.
