Hi,
I was once on a website that sold metal type cases for the iPhone 3G. The case had like patterns on it and like clipped onto the back of the phone.
But I cant find them now... :(
Anyone know what im talking about?
Thanks.

This (http://www.corecases.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=46&category_id=1&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=49%20%3C) doesn't have patterns but it's thin. It probably isn't what you are looking for but if you decide to buy it, keep in mind that metal cases reduce cell reception and that it is prone to slide off. The sliding mechanism isn't sturdy enough to hold the case together in a fall.

There are few aluminum/metal cases on the market for iPhone, as they tend to reduce the wi-fi and phone reception by a small amount (unless there are holes in the case over the antenna area).
