I dnt know how to use installer

can anyone please tell me how to use installer on a 2.2.1 jailbroken ipod? i have cydia but i want to see new stuff. Idk how to use intaller or any good sources on there. I go into it and there are only a few things that i barely need or want

Installer sucks, use Cydia only. There is nothing new for Installer anymore.

anyway what is it you are trying to do? installer is pretty straight forward and as already suggested cydia is the way forward as pretty much every developer uses it and hardly any use installer
