I need to buy a G4 800 DVI logic board for a laptop I'm repairing. I can do the labor myself, just need the part, or someone who fixes these.

Obviously Cheaper the better.

Anyone have any experience with any companies that I should look into?

I have found
http://www.dttservice.com/applepowerbook/pbg4.shtml

425 for repair/exchange.

Love to hear what anyone has to say

Thank you,

I have heard of a place called pre-owned electronics, their site is www.preowned.com, they deal in all sorts of computer parts and have a large stock of Apple parts, I believe you have to have an account with them, you'll have to look into it, but I know they are pretty reliable.

Have you tried directly with Apple assistance? They do sell out of warranty parts, and in my case, a new keyboard and battery for a G3 PowerBook turned out to be a lot cheaper from them than from any other reseller I checked. (Including dttservice.com). I guess it does depend on the part and the system, and I'm not sure they would have logic boards too, but I'd give it a try all the same, you never know.

For other links, check:

and just google on...
