What is the best ram to get for the unibody MacBook? I was thinking about buying it from Apple for compatibility and performance. The 4gb ddr3 ram from Crucial causes my system to drop frame rates compared to the 2gb stock ram. Any recommendations?

I use OWC ram and it has no issues in terms of gaming. It's the main reason I've upgraded my Mac (sig); to game on. I use XP and although not all ram is recognized, games run superb, since the graphics card is more of the bottleneck than ram is.

I think the problem with my ram is that I bought it at Fry's and it did not match the Mac ram listed on Crucial's website advisor. I ordered the correct kit module and plan to return the Crucial 4gb ddr3 kit. I guess not all DDR 3 ram is compatible with the Unibody MacBooks.
