Hey all!

Alright, so I have this Playstation 3 controller that I'd like to use via bluetooth on my Mac. Someone has already programmed a USB driver for the PS3 controller, and while he planned to incorporate bluetooth functionality into said driver, it seems like the PS3 driver project he started is now dead.

Granted, I do have programming experience in java and limited experience with C and C++, however, reading the Apple documentation for Xcode, I/O driver design, and bluetooth, I find that I might be in over my head. My searches for sample driver code proved futile, as I was hoping that I could find a sample USB driver from which I could base the code for this Playstation 3 controller.

That being said, I was wondering if you guys could provide me with any resources besides the Apple documentation that could help me get a head start towards my goal, and hopefully I'm not being too ambitious.

You may want to check out Wiiji (http://wiiji.veltrop.com/). It's an open-source project for the bluetooth Wii remote.

thanks so much! looking at this code is illuminating, however, the more i look at the code, the more i think i'm in over my head.
