Not to be crude but, honestly, neither are real logos. I'm pretty sure you can't even use the second one as it has the official Jeep logo/thing in it...

waloshin,
I see you are running with what I mentioned in your other post (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=677155) about using the liberty headlight pattern as your logo. I took the liberty (no pun intended) of playing with it myself after seeing what you came up with. I am by no means saying I think your logo should look like this, but this is what I saw in my mind.http://www.blurredsight.net/upload/libertycdr.jpg
I am not the happiest with the text at the bottom, I think there might be a better typeface to chose from, but I was trying to incorporate the typeface you used in you first design.
I figured this way it is playing off the "Only in a Jeep" logo strongly, while using the liberty's headlight pattern.

what I like about your logo design is its simple, but decent looking.

Remember: a logo is most memorable when it is simple. Think about some of the most memorable logos of all time: Google, 3M, etc.
I highly recommend you read what Seth Godin, famous marketer and author of Meatball Sundae, said about logos. Read it here (http://blog.jeremybuff.com/logos-and-your-brand/).

And that's the whole point of a logo. ;)

I'm not trying to be a dick, but is the web address spelling at the bottom intentional?

This is much better than either of the ones in the OP.
