View Full Version : My phone rings but there's no one home.

About three times in the last week my phone suddenly starts to ring. When I get the phone out the screen is blank (i.e. dark as in stand-by mode). And no matter what i do (i.e. touch where the answer should be, or push the home button) it doesn’t shut up.

The phone keeps ringing until I re-boot the phone (i.e. hold down the home and power button for a few seconds.)

my firm-ware is 2.30.03.

Anyone else have this problem?

That number is your baseband not your firmware. The firmware is most likely 2.2.1 or something along those lines. Have you tried restoring your phone via iTunes?

Maybe I think it could be text update.

If you get a text message on your iPhone and don't check it then around 5mins later the iPhone buzzes again just in case you missed it the first time.
