i have 5 newer macs, my newest being the macbook aluminium. Well i have had it sense nov. 08 and loved it. WHen i got the mac new the felete key was corrected and fell off alot but it worked and i was ok with that. there was a ding on the bottom side of my computer but apple said that was natuural with the aluminum cases, but this was like a ding.

Any how my keyboard went out last week during crisis business situation, figures right. i called teach support they had me do a pmu take out battery power bottm thing.

Well they then decided to send it out for repair by mailing the box.
a few days later i bought a wireless usb bluetooth keyboard and mouse so i could log in and back up all my files. That worked.

Well i tried to restart and try the keyboard by itself again and the computer started i pushed the first letter of my pass word and it litery kept typing in the letter like i was holding it down or something.

Tried a few more times,, then the computer got really hot i mean deadly hot i was trying to turn it off then it poped off my desk nice wooded grain desk and left a black mark . the aluminum was hot as **** but no mark on th 0.
\
That was risky could have blew up in my face.

Well i decided to take the long drive to the apple store to have them look at the problem. A ******* gemius took the laptop to the back came back out with the laptop with out the bottom back on it showed it to another empployee and they laughed. he said the laptop over heated some how and the fan is in piece and extreme burn marks to the computer. Well he told me it was apples fault and hardware issue and they would send it in. I told him i already contacted codtumer relations and have a box delivered today to be sen for repair so he ssaid stick with customer relations since i already filled it.

well i have been waiting and waiting. then i see a hold on my repair status. i get a call from this botvh of a lady saying my computer is unrepairable and economically not fixable and the fan is in pieces, which i was already told. she told me she was shipping it back to me, i asked her nicly to please hold it until i talk to apple customer relations and she was a bitch about that too.

then out of the blue she said she found or her technician found a matchstick in my computer fan area or something like that i didnt even get it.
I am 21 tears old in college and my gf nor i smoke, and i thought it was funny that she mentioned this and i questioned her about it asking what exactly it was a lighter a piece or paper that said something on it or a actual strike match.

whatever the case she planted in there or the tech did.
i have proof the apple store saw my computer in the same condition i had it sent to reapir in plus i took pictures.

well i am a business man i i dont take implication lightly i let the relations guy have it then cooled my jets said to days to replaced or my lawyer will take over.

Its a apple harware defect simple as that.

he asked me to agree that there was pysical dmage on the phone repeatedly. oi said is this a trick to recored this./ i said well yes there is damage internaly caused by a hardware glictch manufacture by apple and not by customer implication and should be taken care of by the company who manufactered the product and if its not under warranty then its not under warranty, but byb law its manufactures defect not warranty its a hardware failure.

point is i own i run a business about makes love my iphone have mobile me my friends work at the apple store and i get treated and treated and trickery is being played against me.

i have the specialist enhance the case with the repair shop, i said look ill take the same external casing witch is fine, i just want my computer i neeed it for business ASAP and i want it working thats all and thats what a company apple stands for thats what i demand.

i love apple my favorite company put if they push me to the edge i will take legal action and i have all the favor and proof on my side this repair lady is going down ...

any ideas and how to get ahold of corporate

thanks and sorry for any grammatical errors this is from my iphone

If I were you, I'd just try again, and say to the new CS rep that the last one did not understand you over the phone. Get a new case ID and just explain the whole thing over again. If they bring up the match or anything like that, just nicely explain your side. And ask them to examine the evidence (i.e. the burnt match they should have saved) so they can make sure the burn on the computer does, in fact, come from the match. If it even goes that far, then just try to win the CS rep on the phone to your side. And it may sound sexist, but try getting a guy CS (if you are a guy).

call and ask for a product specialist, dont talk to anyone but a product specialist. walk him through everything and the specialist will take care of it.

It's hard to believe he is a businessman with the way he types. Student I can believe, businessman, I cannot.

Why does everyone always talk about what they believe is the truth on these forums and what not, and why does everyone always complain about how ppl type? it really dosent matter. ITS A FORUM, not a formal paper...sheesh, i type very relaxed on here cuz frankly i dont care about how my grammar is on a forum. and im sure other ppl do that too. I have very high marks in my classes in school, where i do my work properly and formally. School papers, and business papers count, not inquires on a freaking forum.

Definitely send it to the Apple Store again and not costumer relations. Explain your situation to the Genius that you dealt with before.

I give you serious credit for writing this on an iPhone.

Try again. I hope you got the lady's name too.

Apple, like any other company, has it's share of idiots working for them so just tough it out and call again.

This is also why I prefer talking to Apple in person at the store so I can ask for another employee if the need arises.

Anyway, good luck man and quit throwing matches in your computer.. it's clearly not good for it...

Anybody want to give me a 5 sentence summary of what the OP said? Thanks

Per your request:
Keyboard broke on UMB and computer got superheated.
Called for support but got impatient, went to Apple store.
They found melted/burned stuff in there, said mail it in anyway.
Mailed it in, Apple found matchbook in fan area, blamed burn damage on that.
Apple sucks, I didn't do anything, what should I do now?

Special bonus summary sentence: I wrote this on my iPhone since none of my 5 Macs are available for some reason.

I think they claimed a matchstick, not a matchbook.

That's fine, but you should be aware that it affects peoples perception of your opinions. If you use bad grammar or spelling, silly abbreviations, no punctuation or capitalization, etc. people will assume you are a child or simply childish and tend to disregard or distrust your statements.

Try other avenues. Hopefully they didn't put that matchstick problem in the case notes, but most likely they have.
