I'm making the video for the Fire Academy I am going through right now. I need some good hard rock/high energy songs to fill it with. I'm not going to be playing the whole song, just good sounding portions-Stuff that will keep the energy up.
Right now I have these.
Fuel- Metallica
Burn Burn- Lostporphets
Smells like teen spirit- Nivana
Happy- Mudvayne
Like I mentioned above, I just need stuff to keep the energy flowing. Any recommendations for me?

you gotta put some Rage Against The Machine in there. Killing in the Name Of is a good song or Bomb Track. Stockholm Syndorme By Muse has a good energy to it. Beautiful Disaster by 311. Spoon Man by Soundgarden is cool cause it's in 7/4 time. Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home. thats all i can think of off the top of my head....oh and some Rob Zombie Numb, Dragula, Superbeast. let me know if you need some more.

achilles last stand ftw
Man, I love that song. One of Zep's most underrated pieces. It's in my top 3 or so.
One other song that I always liked for high energy rock sound is Joe Satriani's "Summer Song" from The Extremist album. That song always gets me going. No vocals, though, so if you want those it won't work.

Another one you could use is My Hero by the Foo Fighters. There was a special version of it made for the 6 firefighters killed in a big warehouse fire (http://www.fallen-heroes.org/) in Worcester, MA about 10 years ago, so it also has a connection that the Fire Academy might appreciate.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Keep them coming if you think of any more. :)

Mother by Danzig. I'll never forget walking in on my friend jumping on his couch lip singing with an air mic to this song. The look on his face when he realized I was there was worth a million. Anyway the song seemed to have him quite pumped:D

The whole of the first Danzig album is great. II, III and IV are quite good too.

That would be shorter, but you'd loose the odd album not being Sabbath, AC/DC or Maiden that way, wouldn't you...? ;)
