Sorry, but what's the point on don't share your wallpaper?

Because the wallpaper was created by the designer, for the designer - and supplied to me as a favour. I am not prepared to rip off someones work. Secondly, this is the "Desktops" thread, where people show off their desktops, which I have done.

As far as I've seen it may take less than a hour for a designer do one same as yours, since it's one texture and some color variation.
So do that, instead of PM'ing me all day asking me for favours.

[you have] helped me here some times, but I totally disagree with you. That's just my opinion.
And it's something I won't be doing again.

I was linking you to fonts, and icons yesterday - and then you post a rant against me. Very rude. I wish I hadn't taken the time to help you now.

You DID say this. So I was just wondering.... being an MR peep myself.... can I get a link to your wallpaper?

I can make lyrics of the song played in iTunes show up on the desktop in a cool "ending cinematic credits" style :D

Also...get THIS (http://macthemes2.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16795369&p=1) MobileMe theme, because it will make Leopard look awesome(er) ;)

Working on my own icon set at the moment, taking longer than a thought as trying to work out shortened names for things is becoming a task :P

Haha yeah, took me a while to do mine, figured I didn't need them anyway, so all i have in my dock is finder, system, msn, safari, ichat, a speaker symbol for itunes and PHSHOP :P oh and trash.

Any way to get rid of the bowtie icon in the dock but still keep it running? "Hide" has no effect...

in Bowties preferences choose to hide it and show it in the menu bar,
then restart, should :o work without a hitch :)

Here's mine, made it myself (I know, it's really simple). I was having a little fun in a class I was taking.

The IM program up top is Adium (with the extra groups detached from the main window). I'm using Bowtie with the Vinyl Mini theme, and GeekTool for the rest (see the GeekTool thread for details about that setup).

That would be Bowtie (http://bowtieapp.com/), which displays album cover art on your desktop and some other cool things.

Laziness. Lack of a link to actually give it because they've had the photo for so long. I usually just PM the person and ask them to upload it or email it to me when I see one interesting with no link.

Personal photo's or unreleased work, which is usually the case with me. Work supplied by designers as a personal favour, who do not want their work being passed on.

Or, laziness.

New wallpaper (NFR)
New folders (which were actually included in the Leopard beta - then they chose to run with the blue for the final release)

I actually spent this afternoon changing my icons on the dock, only to revert back to what they were in the beginning. Go figure.

Yeah, before was a mix of the font I directed you to (Neutra) and Calibri for the smaller bits, like iTunes libraries and side bar text.

I think its better too, now its all tied in.

Can we do that? Wow. I'd feel like I was in MI6.

Download Candybar, and browse DeviantArt.

All I've done is change my wallpaper and dock.
Used Silk to change the system font.
Applied a wallpaper in that 'Film' window and used Photoshop to make covers.
And changed icons (Candybar!!)

I can't decide if I like it enough to keep, though.

Actually I'm on MT for a while, but only was checking Mac releases, will spend more time on GUI, specially the icon request thread, lot of beautiful pieces of work there!

Congratulations on your desktop, it's amazing.
I've checked Soliq, but I will need to work a little on it, it messes up the Mobital theme. Also, I wouldn't matter if you upload SArtFile.bin :rolleyes:

I've decided to post it anyway...despite what happened today. (BBC News - Car attack on Dutch royal parade (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8026807.stm))

Today is Koninginnedag (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koninginnedag) and Orange is the colour of the day. Regrettably what happened this afternoon has darkened the mood of the day extremely but I thought I'd post it anyway.
