i've got a HP Photosmart 8750 installed on a iMac.
its connected via USB to that imac, and works fine.
the drivers are all installed correctly. the icon is the right, all the extra settings are fine.
now i need to have the same printer on a macbook pro. i activated printersharing on the iMac, choose the 8750.
on the macbook pro, i installed the HP drivers, the printer is found but only as "Standard postscript printer" (maybe it's called different in english, since i'm on a german os x).
i also tried to manually select a driver, but i cant fine one that works.
with the "standard postscript printer" i am NOT able to print.
any ideas? maybe to extract the drivers from the imac and copy them to the macbook pro
