For People who want to dump their ati 4870; ATI unveiled the new 4890

Hello All

Technology is advancing in rate that it is faster than we can obtain it. I am waiting for my mac pro with the ati 4870 GPU, & was suprised when I saw this article; http://hothardware.com/Articles/ATI-Radeon-HD-4890-RV790-Unveiled/

I will recive my mac pro after two weeks. I believe that I am going to upgrade when I recive it. LOL

You'll need to flash the card with the 4870 ROM, and you'll get maybe a 7% increase in power. It isn't worth it unless you sell your 4870 afterward.
