Hello

I have this strange problem: in my alu Macbook (2ghz version) there should be a Bluetooth module, but the system behaves like there wasn't any.

In "about this mac" (system profiler), in the bluetooth tab it says "no information found".

In the bluetooth file exchange application which was already preinstalled it gives me an error "No Bluetooth Hardware Found".

Is it means that the module is damaged, missing? or some kind of "special" turning on needed?

I'll be very grateful for help with this problem
Gregory

Try resetting your PRAM and NVRAM (http://myrightbrain.wordpress.com/2008/02/25/reinstating-a-missing-bluetooth-device-mac-os-x/).

Thanks for reply.
Unfortunately after that reset still the same problem :(
BT is missing the whole time since I bought that computer, it never worked.

Take it back to an Apple store or call AppleCare, you should still be in your warranty period.

Navigate to Macintosh HD\Library\Preferences and see if you have com.apple.bluetooth.plist. Also, try to go to System Preferences and click on Network preferences pane, click on the "+" at the bottom left corner and in the drop down menu, see if Bluetooth is an option.

I've checked it, and I don't have this file, and there's no bluetooth option in network preferences
