I just got home with my new 2.26 octo and was attempting to put in my new wd velociraptor drive. When I tried to slide it in I noticed it would go in. After comparing it to the stock drive I see the slots where it connects are off. The drive I bought is a wd3000glfsrtl. Do I need to take it back and get a different type or what. I appreciate the help as I did a search and really couldnt find a good answer.

It's the retail version of the WD3000GFLS, so it would need a different mount. MaxUpgrades (http://www.maxupgrades.com/istore/index.cfm?fuseaction=Product.display&product_id=180&CFID=2038005&CFTOKEN=39462398) offers one.
If you can return it for a WD3000HLFS, it would be cheaper.
