File mysteriously transferred from iphone to desktop?

I recently plugged a friends iphone into my laptop to charge it. I later noticed a ppt. file on my desktop that was not there prior to that. Is it possible for a file to transfer from the iphone to the desktop without downloading and saving it? Has anything similar happened to any of you before? This is really driving me nuts! Thanks.
 
No. File sharing on the iPhone is difficult enough.

Get Info might provide some insight though.
