Popping sound in early iMac 2009 [Archive]

I bought my iMac last Saturday 3/28/09 the new basic 24inch iMac with 2.66GHz and 4gigs of ram. I hear once a day a pop from the speakers? The pop is once and it sounds low.
1. Does anyone have the same problem?
2. Is this a defect, should I return the iMac?

This has been reported on some new '09 iMacs and Minis. I've read a few threads about this.

It's the same with my mid '08 iMac 3.06GHz - it pops once in a while.

It's popping from the internal speakers?

I noticed occassional popping with my 09 Mini, but haven't for the past couple of days.

The pop sound is from the internal speakers. Should I call Apple to get a replacement?
