Album Artwork issues

Hey, I'm having trouble with the album artwork on my iPhone.

A lot of the albums I have weren't purchased on iTunes so they're missing artwork. So I decided to upload my own artwork, but I'm having an issue.

For example, I created my own artwork for this album. It shows up fine when the song is playing like here:

But in the artist list, the artwork next to the album shows up as a black square. All the songs in that album have the same artwork. It just doesn't show up in the artist's album list. Ex:

It's happening to several albums that I have to upload artwork for. I've searched online for a solution but I haven't found one yet... So thanks in advance :)

Go under i tunes and get artwork.
See if there is more than one cover listed there. If there is, delete the black one.

I think you mean Get Info -> Artwork tab.

thank you, but that didn't work. there's only one cover there. and it's the cover i uploaded.

Hey, i had the same issue. Try removing all your music and rescyning it. I cant remember but i think i to Restore it and set it up as a new iPhone.

hmm. i can't exactly do that because i have a bunch of music on my ipod that's not on my computer (downloaded on previous machines). plus all the music in my itunes library is labelled incorrectly and unorganized.

I think you mean Get Info -> Artwork tab.

How did you add the artwork? Through itunes?

How did you add the artwork? Through itunes?yep! i selected all songs of the album & did get info > artwork then dragged the image into the artwork box.
