i am about to go on vacation and i have a car charger to plug my macbook into. I was wondering how many watts it would take to run it while in the car.
Thank you in advance

I have a car adapter/converter, it's convience for everything instead of carry an adapter for each device.

Shouldn't it be the same as the original adapter accordingly?

this has been posted about 30,000 times.
but i would like to say again that instead of buying specific things to power specific things.
you can just buy an inverter and plug a surge protector (fused to right below the max input of whatever power adaptor you're using) - that way no surges come through and if there is a bad one, the fuse will pop.
ive done this about 10 times with no problems with a MBP and no problems with MY UMB.
works nicely as you can charge your iPhone off the MacBook too :)
