Hi all

Im just about to pull the trigger on some mew ram and a HDD for my incoming 09 mini

im about to get this one

http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=5CXK&CategorySelectedId=11154&PageMode=1&NavigationKey=11154%2c47250000%2c50372%2c371470000

will this do the job nicely and quickly?

are there any larger versions that will fit, or would i be better off with a 320gb one in regards to heat / fit etc

cheers all

you can wait a while and pick up a Segeate Momentus 500gb 7200rpm. I doubt it will run much hotter, and it will fit exactly the same.

I figured I'd at least be helpful before I tell you that the search function works well :D

That's the same one I ordered last Thursday from dabs for my 09 mini. Just waiting for it to be delivered, hopefully tomorrow :D:D

Higher capacity at equal RPM = faster. Go for the Seagate 7200.4 500 GB. It's really not that expensive and is state of the art.

I agree and am trying to buy one but I cannot find anywhere with one in stock in the UK!
