My current setup
Setup in my basement:
Airport Express Base Station connected to the Cable Modem.
Slingbox connected to an Airport Express
Imac connected wirelessly to AEBS
Macbook Pro connected wirelessly to AEBS
Setup upstairs is:
Macbook connected wirelessly to AEBS
AppleTv connected wirelessly to AEBS
I've been noticing my signal strength dropping upstairs for some of the devices and think that I need another airport express and set it up as an extender or access point.
I do have a couple of Iphones in the house that I use for remotes for the AppleTv or computers but not often and they're not on the network much.
I'm pretty sure that Signal Strength is what is causing lag on the units upstairs and definitely not bandwidth.
Any input would be appreciated.
