Hello everyone!

1) I intend to bye my first Mac -- used eMac (ATI graphics). How can I thoroughly test all its components? Does any test mode on Macs exist (something like press-special-key-while-boot, or booting from diagnostic CD)?

2) What CD/DVDs comes with eMac (except OS X, iLife) like system restore, drivers/utilities, something else?

Thanks everyone in advance!!!
Vasily

Most recent Macs come with a hardware test CD for this very purpose, that should give you a good idea. Check with the person/place you are buying from to determine what is and isn't included.
