external speakers?

Hello all,

I am thinking of adding a set of external speakers w/sub to my iMac. The problem is I am not sure of how/if it's possible. All the products I see all come with several cables to be plugged in presumably to a Windows based PC.

Below is one of the sets I was looking at earlier today at Best Buy:

So I guess my question is, is there a way to make external speakers with a sub work on one's iMac?

Funny you should ask... I just bought these speakers in question AND JUST posted about them a thread below this:

There is a somewhat noticeable 'fuzz' sound when the volume of the speakers is set high and no music is playing... but I really enjoy the sound quality (especially after enduring music without any subwoofer). I think you'll like 'em, especially with the cheap pricetag.
