phone app not working on i phone

Hi, I have an unlocked iphone old generation! everything is fine but a couple of days ago the phone bit stopped working, can't use the keypad. I can still make calls directly from my contacts....but sometimes need to make calls just from the phone. - can anyone help me it also no longer shows me when i have a missed call or voice mail!

Do you have Installer on it? I talked a friend into jailbreaking his phone today and he had a similar problem. The keypad was locked up and the icons were gone from the bottom of the keypad. It finally started working after he opened installer and found a RipDev menu and started turning things off in there.

I think Kate has given a lot of people this sort of problem. If you've installed that try taking it off.
