iPhone 4th Generation with T-Mobile 3G Network

Because the chip in the 3G iPhone doesn't support the 3G T-Mobile provides, the current iPhone cannot be used on the T-Mobile 3G network.

This is because the 3G networks have different frequencies. If you look at the tech specs for the 3G iPhone, you can see it doesn't support T-Mobile's 3G network.http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html
As you can see from that, the iPhone only supports
UMTS/HSDPA (850, 1900, 2100 MHz)
GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
However, T-Mobile's 3g Network uses 2100 and 1700.

Thus, the iPhone 3G cannot get 3G signals from the T-Mobile 3G network.
However, that is what we have already known.
Now, the question is, will the third generation iPhone support T-Mobile's network?

The X-Gold 618 PMB 9800.
However, the question is, will this chip support T-Mobile's 3G network?

You won't know until its released
Its a third generation iPhone which is being released next - not the fourth. This will be the third iPhone Apple design. Why are you calling it the 4th Generation?

We won't know for sure until June, but I believe that there will be two different models this time around, one similar to the existing one but also a new one with UMTS 900. They may also add 1700 support to the 900 MHz model.

I believe that UMTS 900 is common in Europe, which would presumably entice Apple to add it. Meanwhile they'll keep 850 because AT&T uses it. In addition, I don't believe that manufacturers have had much luck with putting 850 and 900 in the same phone.

Edit: I actually had an unnamed source who told me about the 900 MHz model. He has since told me that he made it up and has no idea what's coming :(
