What do you guys get for you load averages. Just curious what the range is, especially a 2.4C2D


0.13,0.22,0.23

This is just while surfing MR...
 
sorry if this is a dumb question but could you explain what those numbers represent? mine on a 2.4 unibody are .27 .32.31. Thats while surfing at IM'ing..
 
.22, .46, .41.


running 2 fluid instances, safari, iChat, Adium and of course dashboard in the background with quite a few things running.


never realized how much memory Fluid actually takes up until now.
 
Mine is .91, .38, .15 on my 2.4GHz MacBook

The first one I had Safari, iTunes, Entourage, and Skype running, the second I had Safari and Entourage I think and the last one should be just Safari I think.

The numbers are your CPU load averages during the last 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 15 minutes.

Here's a quick update on mine, for the last 5 minutes I've had Finder, Address Book, iCal, Safari, Firefox, iTunes, iPhoto, GarageBand, iMovie, Entourage, Word, Excel and MS Messanger all open and mine is 0.63, 0.54, 0.35.

Hey- How do you like Vuze? Can you play full feature HD movies? While looking at the site they only showed clips of movies, etc. Is there a fee?

throwing mail, safari, and playing iTunes upped my first number to 0.30

Vuze is pretty good. It seems to download torrents faster than Transmission especially large file sized torrents. I haven't used the HD movie thing, but I believe you can download HD content. I don't think there's a fee.
