I know i may not NEED it.. but does it really help?

I am in the United States Marine Corps.. and I live in a 1 room place... sorta like a dorn... about 15 feet x 15 feet....

if you're just going to use the laptop in that one room there's no possible reason why you would need the antenna

I need to use the Laptop on my Top Rack and would like wireless

I am in the army and live in the barracks at Ft Carson and I have to agree with the other person, get the $20 dlink. If you live in the barracks that means you do notneed to blow the moneyon an airport and antenna, the dlink wll give you more than adequate reception in you room. I would suggest enabling MAC filtering as all sorts of jackasses were punking my wireless until I did.
