How does it work with Airport Extreme?

airport extreme is much faster than the iSight will be able to transfer data usually. I mean what, the limit in iChat is 2mbps, 802.11b alone can handle a theoretical 11mbps, 802.11g 54mbps.
i have an iSight and an AE base station, works fine, but my DSL sucks :p

the iSight rocks :)
Get one, unless you have better things to spend your money on. In that case, get a USB webcam or a cheaper FireWire one and use iChatUSB.

would you say isight is worth it? or should i get another webcam?Because the excellent twin microphone design effectively filters background noise, and the quality of the light sensing video, the FireWire iSight is an outstanding value at less than $150, and is highly rated and praised in the PC and Mac worlds for its value & quality.
Why waste your money on cheap USB junk or an inferior product?
Check out how well the case and other parts are designed, then you will totally understand what a good deal the iSight truly is.
Perfect for iChat Audio/Video conferencing. PERFECT!

Really great webcam. No complaints about the iSight at all (well, perhaps the color balance could still be a bit better). Now iSight A/V's compatibility with AIM is another story.
