I am looking for a cable that will convert a proprietary iphone dock to a usb connector. Female iphone on one end, with either standard female usb or male mini usb on the other.
To explain what I need, I have an iPhone dock in my car and would like to use that dock to charge other usb devices. While I could plug a separate adapter into my cigarette lighter, I am looking for a cleaner solution.
Searching the internet, I found this pretty cool cable from CableJive (http://cablejive.com/universal_dock_adapter.html). I think this would work, except I do not need the audio cable split out and it is a little pricey for my basic needs.
Any suggestions?
