Expose for Windows (sort of)

this will be off-topic for some, but after trying out a few alternatives, I have found an "expose"-like application that works nicely under Windows. It requires Vista and Aero.

It does not work perfectly like Expose and spring-loaded windows under OS X (pity :) ) but it is possible to move icons around by using both the keyboard and the mouse to select the active window. Enjoy :)

If I used Vista I guess that would be pretty cool. Does it use excessive RAM or does it just modify the way Flip3D works?

It uses DWM (Vistas version of Quartz GL) using the API that MS made available, which is also what flip3d also uses. (You can still use Flip3d) I've used that program before and it works pretty good and is antialiased and has live updating thumbnails. I am surprised that there aren't many more programs that make use of DWM since the ability is available.

on my pc it takes up 2MB RAM while idle.

my brief experiment (attached) suggests that it does not work as nicely as Expose under heavier load .. and firefox didn't like it either :p
