Ichat Talk problem with AIM 5.1

I'm trying to audio chat with someone using AIM 5.1 but when they invite me to talk it tells her my set up does not support Talk. In my buddy list box my screen name is listed as available and has a green telephone icon next to it. I am not behind a firewall and the microphone is picking up sound. I can't invite her to talk though. Any ideas? I want to make sure I can at least talk before going to the next stage and buying Isight.

Hey Talent,
I just bought an iSight and it worked flawlessly with my buddy on AIM. But it didn't work with another buddy. I have NO idea why. They both had the most updated AIM versions...
