Come on liberals!
Let's just give in and make the USA the USSR already. We all know we really want socialism. With Obama in there we've almost succeeded!
The right wing is starting to catch on... we need to put our plans into action or we'll lose our momentum.

liberal does not necessarily mean socialist. the US will never become a true socialist nation, nor should it.

Try red wine. It is an excellent vintage, a 1945, I believe. At your earliest convenience, signal the waiter and inform him that the Krebs party is ready for the main course, but their grandson needs additional cutlery.

Somebody doesn't have a clue what socialism is, much less who actually wants it.
All this crap is is just tired warmed-over red-baiting. Instead of actually dealing with Obama's program, and what it means in terms of reforms for capitalism, the right tries the same old tactic of accusing anyone who doesn't agree with letting big business run roughshod over us all of being against capitalism. It's stupid, but unfortunately, if it's said loud enough and often enough, there are people who will believe this nonsense.

I think the OP is making a joke, in which case you all fell for it. Otherwise he's a complete prat.

Oh come on! The USA--even with the help for distressed industries--is NOWHERE near what the UK was like when they had nationalized industries. Otherwise, we would essentially have United Airlines for domestic flights and Pan Am for interntional flights and that's pretty much it for airlines!
