Application with multiple windows

I want to create an application in Xcode which will have 2 buttons and each button will display a panel on the main window of the application.

I was wondering if whether to use Cocoa Application or Cocoa Document based application for this?

Suggestions are welcome.

Use Cooca Application. Cocoa Document is used when you want a window (or many windows) to represent as a viewer/editor a certain file.
