I'm rather shocked and somewhat disappointed to see the battery in my MacBook failing completely! Again. This is only the second time it's done this in a period of three months, I'm beginning to wonder is the charge circuit within the machine faulty or Apple replacement was just a dudd? What are the chances???

Upon bootup, I fire up System Profiler and it tells me the battery is installed but has 0% charge, yet it refused to charge it.

Has this happened to anyone else who owns the last revision of the MacBook White 2.1Ghz?

That's an issue with the battery, and it should be replaceable if under warranty. I've had to replace a battery.

update...

Contacted Apple today and they're gonna be sending me a replacement battery in exchange for the knackered one.

...I wonder how long this one will last?
