I recently installed a weather lockscreen app I got off macthemes. I went to edit the config file, not thinking I used word to edit it. I think by using word it change some the format of the code. After uploading it to my phone and testing the lockscreen out my springboard crashed (blackscreen w/ the springboard loading and loading). So I hold home and power and turn my phone off. Now when I try to turn the phone on I'm stuck @ the pineapple logo.

Is there anyway to get my phone back on w/o restoring everything and rejailbreaking? If I need to restore everything how do I do it? I'm stuck on the boot screen so not sure how to get into DFU mode. Thanks in advance...

DFU Mode (http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034)
Or try holding the home and lock buttons until the phone turns off and then do it again to turn it on.

Must have ssh installed

1. turn ipod or iphone off
2. connect cable
3. turn on ipod iphone
4. listen for ding dong (window) or what ever the mac sound is
5. ssh to your ipod iphone
6. goto /var/mobile/
7. rename Applications to Applications2
8. wait 5 second and your springboard will pop up
9. now rename Applications back and restart

Good luck with that, I have tried it many times when I was in your situation, and I never got it to work, the iphone never showed up in CyberDuck..
