I leave the football manager 2009 dvd in my machine all the time because I don't use the dvd drive for anything else. It's a santa rosa macbook so fairly new.
But i took the disk out the other day, and found that there is a sticky substance on the inner ring of the disk, on the non label side. It's in a full circle so it's something to do with teh drive.
I remember I had the same problem with FM07 on my rev. A macbook, but that had built up far worse than this one has.
Anything I can do other than leave the disk out of the machine?
