Hi

I ahve noticed on the apple home page - apple.com the text at the top shows "up to 1.25GB" however underneath the picture is says "up to 1.2GB"

I guess as there is no 1.25 available in the store this is an error.

I thought i'd point it out as im surprised Apple would make an error like that.

Maybe someone can confirm if it is simply an error?

Kind Regards

it's up to 1.2GHz processor clockspeed.... and up to 1.25GB maximum RAM. the 1.2GHz option is only available on the 14". all current iBooks can support up to 1.25GB of RAM.

The 1.2 is referring to processor speed. The 1.25 is referring to RAM capacity.

edit: thats what I get for takin the trash out before finishing my post, lol.... He beat me!

It's a 133MHz FSB on the iBook G4 1.2GHz model...

If you look at the v-spec you'll see it's either 1197 or 1064 MHz.

The PowerBooks will clock in with the higher speeds at the same multiplier due to the 167MHz FSB -- 1500 or 1333 MHz at the 9 and 8 multiplier.

So what if you have a little picture beside your username. It isn't worth spamming, or posting just to increase post count. If one does too much of it, one could get banned. Granted, I don't think you're anywhere close to being banned, but when you just post because you say it's a "useful post", it just sounds like spam..... No offense meant.
