First quit Xcode, then open ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Xcode.plist in Property List Editor and delete XCSuppressSplashForBuilds.

This doesn't work in Xcode 4.1. Any other suggestions or tips on getting the template window back?

In Xcode 3.x, the "template window" appears when you choose the "Welcome to Xcode" menu-item from the Help menu. At the bottom of that window is the checkbox "Show this window when Xcode launches".

I don't have Xcode 4 available at this moment, so I can't see if it's the same.
