According to dealmac.com expercom.com is selling 15" Powerbook 1.5Ghz w/ 5400 rpm drive / 128meg VRAM for $2499. Free shipping and NO TAX!!!! (Except maybe Utah). The tax on these machines can be at or above $200 So enjoy!

Sounds like a good deal, the only downside is I think it still has both RAM slots filled with 256MB RAM... I'd rather have it custom configured with 1 512MB chip. Since I can get education prices at Apple, it's kind of a wash as far as which is the better deal.

Not a bad deal, but if you can get the edu discount I say go with the Apple Store.
